What to Expect When You VisitWe're a loving church family eager to learn the Scriptures, serve the Lord, and help others. Mostly, we want people to know Jesus Christ and find forgiveness, hope, and life in Him.
What is your worship style? Our worship is conservative, seeking to honor the Lord through biblical truth in songs new and old. Think of songs such as "How Great Thou Art" or "Before the Throne of God Above." How should I dress? Most of our folks dress up for Sundays, though we don't make a big deal of it. Guys often wear shirts with collars (maybe a tie), and the ladies often wear dresses/skirts. What Bible version do you use? We use the New King James for teaching, but feel free to carry the version you like to use. We encourage translations seeking to honor each word of the original languages. Good examples are the KJV, NKJV, ESV, and NASB. |
